Meet the Managing Partners
David DeLeon, CMI | Managing Partner | Senior Property Tax Consultant
David DeLeon is co-founder and managing partner of Delta Property Tax Advisors, LLC. He is a licensed senior property tax consultant with nearly 15 years of financing, appraisal and property tax experience in the real and personal property industry, with emphasis on commercial and industrial property. He grew up in a family business and understands the importance of minimizing all costs associated with running a successful company, including property taxes. Mr. DeLeon has saved his clients millions of dollars in property tax on industrial and commercial property since 2008. Mr. DeLeon works extensively with complex industrial and commercial properties across the country, with expertise in compliance, obsolescence studies, exemptions and valuation analysis. David is a results-driven consultant, managing property tax compliance functions for his clients as well as assessment review and appeal, settlement negotiation and tax planning. David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas State University. He is licensed by the State of Texas as a senior property tax consultant as well as a property tax agent with the State of Arizona Board of Appraisal. David holds the designation of Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI) and is an active member of TAPTP and the Florida IAAO.
Taylor Vaughn, CMI | Managing Partner | Senior Property Tax Consultant
Taylor Vaughn is a licensed senior property tax consultant and Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI). His experience in property tax consulting includes market value and ‘equal and uniform’ assessment reviews, business personal property return preparation and filing, negotiations with assessing authorities, obsolescence identification, litigation management and tax incentives including abatement’s and pollution control exemptions. Mr. Vaughn has extensive knowledge of multi-state property tax laws and appeal procedures. He has been able to save his clients significant property tax dollars, as well as dramatically reduce the time spent with property tax compliance, rendition filings, appeals, and verification of tax statements. Additionally, Taylor is as an active member of Toastmasters where he previously served as the Vice President of Public Relations. He earned the Competent Communicator designation and assisted his club in being recognized as one of the top in the greater Austin area. Mr. Vaughn earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in business and a minor in Economics from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
